Rockvale School

The Rockvale School represents the community’s efforts to provide education for its children as well as the local coal company’s concern for the education of its adult employees.
Rockvale School
The school also served as the center of community social and recreational activity. Architecturally, the circa 1883 building exhibits the defining characteristics of rural/small town schoolhouses.
