Fansler House

Larimer County

Constructed by Loveland contractor and builder Norton C. Fansler in 1905, the house is a good local example of a vernacular variation of a late Queen Anne style residence.

The style was popular in Colorado during the late 19th century and the first few years of the 20th century.  The Fansler House represents the Free-Classic subtype of the style as applied to a moderate sized, 1½-story wood frame dwelling.
