Carlton House

El Paso County

The large, rambling residence was designed by San Diego architect Richard S. Requa.

A black and white photo of the house with overhanging eaves, a long balcony on the top level, and entrances on the bottom. On the right side of the building stands a tall chimney, and on the left is a tall pine tree with a high canopy.

It remains virtually intact as an excellent example of the Spanish Colonial Revival style.  The property includes a total of nine buildings constructed between 1930 and 1937.
