First Baptist Church (Denver)
Denver County
The 1938 First Baptist Church of Denver is one of the city’s rare, well-executed examples of Georgian Revival architecture. Denver architect G. Meredith Musick created the design and it stands as one of his important contributions to the city’s built environment.
Musick was one of Denver’s most versatile architects, with excellent examples of work across many styles of architecture. Known primarily for his work in early modern styles, the First Baptist Church illustrates his ability to design equally memorable buildings in revival styles.
