The Quintana Homestead, located west of Agular in Las Animas County, was first settled by Blas Quintana in 1894. The farm was passed down to his son, Dario, and then on to Dario's daughter, Anne and her husband Gordon Lucero. The family will also be receiving the historic structures award for the preservation and continued use of several of the original buildings.
