Wes Moser & Sons Farm

Weld County

Wes Moser and Sons farm is located in Weld County near Hudson. The farm was originally homesteaded in 1890 by Christ Moser, Sr., who lived there with his family for the first year in lean-tos propped up against wagons. The first crop was oats which was planted for the horses and cattle. A more permanent home was constructed the following year, and this prosperous farm was eventually passed on to Christ Moser, Jr. and then to on his son, Wesley Eugene Moser. Wes' son, John Roy Moser, now heads up the operation. Corn, alfalfa, potatoes, and small grains are the major crops.
