The Sylvester farm, which is located near LaSalle in Weld County, was started in 1881 by Charles and Agusta Miller. The Millers passed the farm down to their daughter, Carrie, who married Walter Sylvester. The farm has since been home to four generations of Sylvesters. The Sylvesters will be receiving the historic structures award for several buildings dating from 1905, some of which are still in use.
