Santa Fe Hospital
Otero County
The 1908 Italianate style Santa Fe Hospital represented the historical development of health services by the Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railroad.
The company established a series of hospitals along its rail network to provide medical and surgical treatment for its employees. Plans to rehabilitate the building for use as a fraternal lodge ultimately failed and the building was demolished for site redevelopment in 2003.
