Centennial Farms & Ranches

Pearl Farms

Otero County

Jesse Funk came from Indiana to purchase the farm in July of 1917. The farm passed down through the family and, after serving in the army during World War II, Leland and Gussie Pearl bought the farm from Leland's uncle continuing to farm the land for 56 years before selling it to their grandson Richard Pearl and his wife, Dayla.  Today the Pearls farm alfalfa, corn, and oats, and run a cow/calf operation.
