The Oster Farm, located near LaSalle in Weld County, began around 1894 with a 160 acre homestead settled by Wilhelm and Christine Oster. The farm was passed on to their son William and his wife Edna, who, in turn, passed it on to their son, James and his wife Lelia. The Osters will also be receiving a historic structures award for the preservation of several of the farm's early buildings.
