This year marks the centennial of the Lazy 3 N near Fleming. It began as a 160 acre farm, homesteaded in 1890 by Andrew Nelson. Over the years the farm has been expanded to include 1120 acres today. It is currently owned and operated by Earl Nelson and his son Keith. Today its principal crop is wheat; although past years have also seen corn, millet, pinto beans, milo, horses, cattle, pigs, chickens and turkeys. A fine collection of historic structures can be found on the farm.
