Leopold Korf came to Yuma county in 1886 from Germany. He acquired his land through an 80 acre homestead, a tee claim and a preemption. His great- grandson lives in the farmhouse that Lee built in 1892. Today the Korf's raise corn, beans, wheat and cattle.
