Humphrey House / Kinnikinnik Ranch
Jefferson County
The original log home was constructed in 1883 for John J. Clark, who was elected to the state legislature in 1888. Over the years, there have been several additions.
Interesting architectural elements on the façade include a prominent bay window and a gabled dormer in the steeply pitched hipped roof. In 1912, a portion of the original 160 acre homestead became Filius Park, a Denver Mountain Park. The remaining property was purchased by the Humphrey family in 1920.
