Hellis House

Denver County

The 1891 Queen Anne style Hellis House was designed by Leonard Cutshaw, a prominent Denver architect for the family of Harry K. Hellis.  Hellis operated a retail and wholesale grocery business.

A mostly side view of the house with orange bricks, green porch and triangular roof.

The house was one of the earliest constructed in the Witters addition to the Highlands area and is a good example of a style popular in this Denver neighborhood.
