Glenarm USO Club / Glenarm Recreation Center (Wallace Simpson American Legion Post No. 29)

The USO (United Service Organizations) Club offered a home-away-from-home for members of the armed forces stationed in Denver and for those passing through Denver on their way to new assignments.  On the conclusion of the war, the club continued to provide community-wide recreational activities until 1970.  The 1888 building originally served as a fire station for the Denver Fire Department until 1931.
