Fort Collins Waterworks

Larimer County

Built in 1882-1883, and expanded in 1894 and 1895, the waterworks plant played a pivotal role in the establishment of the city’s first public works facility, a filtered water and sewer system.

The facility is an excellent example of intact, late 19th century industrial architecture.  The four structures and the surrounding 25 acres are owned by the City of Fort Collins.
