Eldred House

This brick building was the residence of Judge Kent Eldred, who had a major influence on the community’s legal and political system.

Eldred House

He served as Fremont County judge for 30 years, in addition to holding several other public offices in South Cañon and Cañon City.  Constructed in 1888, this was one of the early homes within the original South Cañon Plat.
