Delta Public Library

Delta County

Serving the community for over 100 years, the Neo-Classical Revival style Delta Public Library is an integral piece of the county’s historical and cultural framework, both inside and out.

Built in 1911 through the persistence of the enterprising Delta Women’s Club, the Carnegie-funded library continues to serve the community for education, research, and local events.  Previous SHF funding resolved the library’s critical structural deficiencies, and this year, an SHF grant will fund the development of construction documents to plan for further preservation and future use.

This building is listed on the State Register of Historic Places.
