Colorado-Big Thompson Project Administration Building

Constructed in 1939, the one-story, wood frame building served as the administrative office for the Colorado-Big Thompson project until 1953.

This New Deal era project was the largest water diversion, irrigation, and power generating undertaking in Colorado.  The building is the state’s best surviving example of Depression era, Bureau of Reclamation Colonial Revival design.
