Make Your Organization Part of Colorado’s History

Perched on Quality Hill in the heart of Denver, the Grant-Humphreys Mansion was built in 1902 in a Beaux-Arts style for the family of James Benton Grant, the third Governor of Colorado, and his wife, the prominent socialite Mary Goodell Grant. In 1917, Mary sold the mansion to another influential and connected family, the Humphreys, best remembered for opening Denver’s first airport. 

For more than half a century, the Grant-Humphreys Mansion played host to the elegant soirées of Colorado’s elite and is now available for your business function. In 1976, it was bequeathed by Ira Boyd Humphreys to the Colorado Historical Society (now History Colorado), so that future generations of Coloradans could continue to enjoy this sumptuous setting for their own memorable occasions.

Our Flexible Spaces

Our stylish indoor and outdoor spaces accommodate parties from 10 to 200 guests, depending on the style of meeting or event you have in mind. Interior spaces have flexible room settings to accommodate a variety of styles and include our formal dining room, library, parlor, sunroom, grand ballroom, vintage bowling alley, upstairs suites, and more. Exterior spaces include access to Humphreys Park, flower gardens, and a neoclassical terrace.
