Historic Denver Wedding Venue
A Timeless Setting for the Next Chapter of Your Love Story
With its ageless charm and picturesque surroundings, the Grant-Humphreys Mansion has been Denver's quintessential historic wedding venue since 1902. Our dedicated events team will collaborate with you to curate your perfect wedding, making your special day truly timeless.
Home to Timeless Love Stories
Adjacent to the Governor’s Mansion and perched on Quality Hill in the heart of Denver, the Grant-Humphreys Mansion was built in 1902 in a Beaux-Arts style for the family of James Benton Grant, the third Governor of Colorado, and his wife, the prominent socialite Mary Goodell Grant. In 1917, Mary sold the mansion to another influential and connected family, the Humphreys, best remembered for opening Denver’s first airport.
For more than half a century, the Grant-Humphreys Mansion played host to the elegant soirées of Colorado’s elite. In 1976, it was bequeathed by Ira Boyd Humphreys to the Colorado Historical Society (now History Colorado), so that future generations of Coloradans could continue to enjoy this sumptuous setting for their own special occasions.
If you yearn for a timeless setting for your equally timeless romance, this turn-of-the-century estate has been thoughtfully preserved for your moment in history. We humbly invite you to start the next chapter of your love story with us.
